Calling all Genetic counsellors (GCs) & Genomic practitioners (GenPs) -  your unique chance to publish!

BMJ Connections Clinical Genetics and Genomics has launched its first topic collection dedicated to our profession: Genetic Counselling: Shaping Care, Research, and Innovation. This is a rare opportunity to showcase our work and impact

Guest editors for the submissions are Sasha Henriques, Juliette Harris, Roberta Rizzo, Karen Sage, Ellie Quinn and Eshika Haque.

Manuscripts may include service evaluations, case studies, short reports, reviews or protocols and can take the form of original and even reflective/commentary/opinion pieces that provide insights into professional practice.

Now is the time to highlight the value of our profession and share the innovations shaping the future of genomic healthcare.

Articles will be accepted upon peer review for the BMJ Genetic Counselling Topics Collection with a submission deadline of 17th May 2026.

AGNC would encourage the membership to consider a submission. Please get in touch at skang@bmj.com should you have any questions or queries, or read more on the BMJ website here
