This skills-based course aims to equip midwives and healthcare professionals in prenatal testing settings with the necessary tools to facilitate patients' access to suitable referrals. These tools encompass acquiring family histories, recognising high-risk family backgrounds, navigating genetic testing methods, conducting consent procedures, and honing counselling abilities essential for delivering information and interpreting results.
