Registration for the AGNC conference 2021, taking place virtually on 26-27 April is now open

Please see the programme here

Our core themes this year include: reflective practice, polygenic scores, variant interpretation, genomics in mainstream healthcare and management in selected complex genetic conditions.

Confirmed key speakers include Dr Toby Andrew (Imperial College, London), Dr Mohnish Suri (Clinical Lead, National Paediatric AT Clinic), Dr Matt Hall (Lead, UK Pregnancy and CKD Rare Disease Group) Dr Tabitha Randell (Chair, BSPED) , Prof Anneke Lucassen (Ethics Advisory Committee Genomics England), Dr Christine Patch (Clinical Lead for Genetic Counselling Genomics England).

In response to feedback from the New Genetic Counsellor group, the conference includes a Storytelling workshop dedicated to reflective case discussion. We will be asking for volunteer Genetic Counsellors to lead small group discussions centred on a case they have been involved with. An official call for volunteers has recently gone out to service Leads.

The event will be held virtually and “live from your living room” via Zoom. Registration for the meeting is £40. Please log into your mySociety member account then click 'events and conferences' at the top of the screen and follow the instructions to register.

Practical considerations

If you have a choice of where to join us from (at your desk at work, at home, or in a shared office) then please consider where you have the best internet connection. For the interactive parts of the conference, good internet connectivity and high bandwidth are essential for us all to stay connected!

Please note that the final list of delegate names and contact information will be forwarded to CTI who are running the meeting on the day via their conference platform  (for the purposes of the meeting only).

Abstract Submission

Abstract submissions are now closed.

Successful abstract submissions will be notified shortly.

GCRB have awarded 10 CPD points for the conference

We look forward to seeing you In April.
