AGNC Training Panel

The AGNC Training Panel would like to invite all new GCs to a meeting / Study Day in Cambridge on Friday 27st October 2017.

There can be a maximum of 30 attendees. Applications from trainees that are not on the STP programme will be considered until August 31st, due to limitations of space. Any remaining spaces can be offered to STP students.

This meeting should provide an excellent opportunity to network with other new GCs / GC Trainees and discuss relevant issues. There will be an opportunity for Trainees to present a short (5 minute) case of their own, using 1-3 slides.  Although we try to accommodate all cases, presentations will be limited to the first 20.  Please see the attached programme for further details.

This year we have a very exciting session on risk communication and perception, facilitated by Alex Freeman, executive Director of the Winton Centre for Risk Communication and Helen Jolley will be providing a session on preparation for registration.

There is no cost for the meeting. Coffee / tea, water and lunch will be provided. Trainees who are currently being monitored by the Training Panel will also be able to obtain a refund of their travelling expenses - although we do ask that rail tickets are booked early to secure the lowest prices.

Please complete the attached application and return to Amy Goldman (Amy.Goldman@cmft.nhs.uk) to secure a place.

Any queries about the day can be addressed to Sue Kenwrick (sue.kenwrick@addenbrookes.nhs.uk) or Helen Jolley (Helen.Jolley@cmft.nhs.uk).
