this group is to negotiate with non UK Genetic
Counsellor professional bodies to facilitate two
way recognition of participating country's
Genetic Counselling training and/or registration
The aims of our group are to
provide information for the Registration Board
on:
1. Eligibility of genetic counsellors for UK
registration
2. What procedures are needed for overseas GCs
to obtain UK registration
3. How to facilitate reciprocity of registration
with other countries
